Fretz M-124 Large Collar Mushroom Stake

The Fretz M-124 Large Collar Mushroom Stake is a precision forming tool designed for shaping the neck area of a small bottle, delivering reliable, repeatable results for fine metalsmithing work. With a 1-3/4" (44mm) working surface, it is also well suited for small elements where a compound curve is desired.

This stake is compatible with several Fretz mounting solutions for bench or tabletop use. For standard setups, use it with the Fretz stake holder H-1 (112.600) or the Fretz extended reach stake holder H-1L (112.719). When your work requires deeper access than the H-1L provides, additional working room can be achieved by pairing this stake with the Fretz double ended stake holder T-101 (112.721) or the Fretz extender holder E-101 (112.726). Note that both the T-101 and E-101 feature larger tangs that require correspondingly larger stake holders.

Notes

The Fretz T-101 double ended stake holder (112.721) and the Fretz E-101 extender holder (112.726) both have larger tangs than the H-1 and H-1L holders. Ensure you are using a compatible stake holder when selecting your mounting setup.
