Fretz M-130 Straight Fluting Stake

The Fretz M-130 Straight Fluting Stake is a flat wedge stake designed for fluting flat shapes, flat bangles, or any form where a flat ridge is the desired outcome. Unlike industrial fluting tools that produce only a single result, the M-130 offers remarkable flexibility — fluting may be executed in parallel lines or at multiple angles to one another, giving metalsmiths greater creative control over the finished piece.

Compatibility

The M-130 Straight Fluting Stake is designed for use with Fretz stake holder systems. For standard bench or tabletop mounting, use the Fretz H-1 Miniature Stake Holder (112.600) or the Fretz H-1L Extended Reach Stake Holder (112.719). When your work requires deeper access beyond what the H-1L provides, additional working room is available with the Fretz T-101 Double Ended Stake Holder (112.721) or the Fretz E-101 Extender Holder (112.726). Note that both the T-101 and E-101 feature larger tangs and will require correspondingly larger stake holders.
