Compatibility

Use only Gold Label analyzer replacement pen probes with this device, item 156.808, GemOro 2018. Other probe types are not compatible. A replacement AC adapter is available separately as item 156.799ADP.

Calibration must be done before each test. A plumb calibration gold piece is required and is available separately as item 156.799CAL. Or use your own verified 18K plumb gold sample.

To rule out gold plate and yellow gold filled (YGF), testing must be done on top of a file mark. Gold plate and yellow gold filled can show false readings if this important step is omitted. Please read the instructions carefully.

Hello,
You should be able to receive an invoice showing what you have paid for. Sometimes you pay first and then wait for the receipt showing the break down of your import expenses.

You most likely have paid:
Duties (French duties on US imported goods)
Fees (brokerage fees paid to UPS to broker goods through French customs)
Taxes (VAT)
UPS should email you your receipt. Contact them with your tracking number.

You can get up to 1,000 tests with each pen with the proper care and use. Always clean your test area because oils and dirt can age the pen. Also keep the cap firmly on when not in use.
