Product Details

These German-made tinted safety glasses are designed to protect against harmful UV and IR radiation during welding, brazing, cutting, and soldering operations. Engineered for professional jewelers working with platinum, they feature side guards for additional coverage and are available in two protection levels to suit the intensity of your work.

Shade 7.0 provides heavy protection, well suited for platinum soldering and related high-heat tasks. Shade 10.0 delivers an even higher level of protection for more intense work, though it produces a near-blackout lens effect. Both shade levels meet the demands of professional metalsmithing environments where eye safety is critical.

For gold and silver work, a shade 5.0 version is available separately under part number 129.379-5.
