Glardon-Vallorbe Balance Wheel Escapement Files - LE3026

Swiss made Glardon-Vallorbe Balance Wheel Escapement files have square handles. Escapement file lengths are measured from tip to the end of the cut and do not include the tang. Escapement files are also called Watchmakers files.

Balance wheel escapement files are similar in shape to barrette files, tapered to a point and with a top that is safe, but have a curved surface on the cut side instead of being flat.

Measurements given are at the thickest point.

Glardon-Vallorbe Swiss Made Escapement Files are graded with a number from 0 for coarsest to 10 for finest. Remember, the higher the number the finer the cut.
