These Glardon-Vallorbe Swiss Valtitan precision files have 6 inches of cut and measure 8-1/4 inches, including the tang. These are the most popular jewelers files in one kit. They are all cut 2 medium cut. Glardon-Vallorbe is the one and only manufacturer of files in Switzerland. If a file says Swiss Made, it is made by Glardon-Vallorbe of Vallorbe Switzerland. This is the Valtitan kit. Valtitan files are original quality Glardon-Vallorbe files that received an additional treatment increasing their rockwell hardness. They work well with platinum and other hard metals. The Valtitan treatment also makes these files easier to clean. Starting in 2016 Valtitan files are no longer produced with yellow painted tangs. The factory now imprints VALTITAN on the tangs of the file to identify Valtitan files.
