These lever backs feature set rivets. If soldering is required, the rivet must be removed and the lever back fully disassembled before applying heat. Soldering is not recommended for the 14K White Gold Rhodium Plated version. After soldering, the finding must be reassembled and the rivet reset.

The hinges in lever backs should be lubricated with a small amount of mineral oil or a similar lubricant to keep them operating smoothly. This step is especially important after cleaning in an ultrasonic cleaner or with a steam cleaner.
