GRS 003-630 Acrobat Microscope Stand with Headrest

The GRS Acrobat Microscope Stand with Headrest delivers outstanding flexibility for professional jewelers, engravers, and metalsmiths who rely on microscope-assisted work. Designed by Glendo/GRS, this stand works with you rather than against you — arms move with adjustable friction and can be locked firmly in position, while the entire unit swings away cleanly when not in use. The built-in headrest reduces neck and back strain during extended sessions at the bench.

The heavy steel base measures 6" × 4" and weighs 19 lbs, providing a stable foundation. Four mounting holes accept the included wood screws for permanent bench attachment, or the base can be secured with C-clamps (not included) if you prefer not to drill into your work surface. The 24" steel rod mounted to the base allows the arm to be set anywhere from a low of 7¾" to a maximum height of 25", measured from the center of the mounting ring. When fully compressed, the arm including the microscope mounting ring extends 16¼" deep; in the fully extended position, that depth reaches 33¼".

The mounting ring features an inside diameter of 84mm (3.3"), 21.1mm wide and 7.1mm thick, with three adjustable plastic set screws to secure the scope head. This ring accommodates OttoSetters microscopes, Meiji microscopes, and many other models with a compatible barrel diameter.
