The Hi Heat Torch is a compact casting and annealing torch designed for use with Propane or Natural Gas as the fuel source, paired with either compressed air or bottled oxygen depending on the tip selected. It is an economical choice for craftspeople and students who need to cast small quantities of metal — such as one or two rings at a time — or perform annealing work in smaller annealing pans. Three kit configurations are available, each including the Hi Heat Torch body along with a different combination of tips to suit your gas setup.
The compressed air tips produce a larger, bushier flame, while the bottled oxygen tip delivers a hotter, more concentrated flame. The compressed air tips are not compatible with bottled oxygen — using bottled oxygen with compressed air tips will destroy the tips. Select your kit based on your available gas supply and intended application. Do not use Acetylene with this torch.
