Stainless Steel Magnetic Pins For Magnetic Tumblers-0.3mm & 0.5mm 250 Gram Packs

Sold in Packs of  250 Grams, these Japanese made stainless steel magnetic pins are made of special chromium alloy stainless steel and are rust and corrosion resistant and will outlast all other similar media.  Choose from 2 different diameters, 0.3mm and 0.5mm.  Both are 5.0mm long.  The size and shape helps to reach into and polish the tiniest details and settings with minimal lodging. These specially formulated stainless steel magnetic pins are used in magnetic polishers only.

Instructions For Use:

Magnetic pins require a break-in period to de-iron the pins and temper their blunt edges before use.  Be sure to run them through several 5-10 minute cycles using a polishing compound like Otto Frei OF 610 Magnetic Tumbler solution or #750 Powered Shot Cleaner before mixing with other pins or using to finish your metals.  The break in period helps leach out residual iron from the pins that can effect successful brightening. The pins are ready for use when they no longer turn the water solution black.
