Jewelers Divider-Black Body 3"

These Jewelers 3" black body dividers are for measuring distances between points and transferring that distance to another piece of metal as well as scribing circles or arcs. Also called a compass gauge. The sharp steel points are excellent for scribing in all sorts of non ferrous metals and soft steel. Spring action with a quick change adjuster that allows for quickly opening and closing the legs.  This good quality jewelers dividers are made of hardened tool steel in India and are perfect for students or beginners to the jewelry trade.

The 3" black body model has legs that are 3" long when measured from the bottom of the tension circle spring. The overall length of these dividers is 4-3/4".  Adjustment is made by means of a knurled nut on a threaded rod.
