Jewelers Dividers 3"

The previous version of these dividers are no longer in production, a casualty of the Covid 19 pandemic.  We have been advised that a new version will be available from another factory in summer 2023.


Jewelers 3" (75mm) dividers are for measuring distances between points and transferring that distance to another piece of metal as well as scribing circles or arcs. Also called a compass gauge. The sharp steel points are excellent for scribing in all sorts of non ferrous metals and soft steel. Spring action with a quick change adjuster that allows for quickly opening and closing the legs.  This is a very popular style as they have thicker legs and are very sturdy as compared to the more expensive Starrett version. For that reason, they can take a stand up to hard use quite well.  They also cost far less than the premium Starrett version.  This high quality jewelers dividers are made of hardened tool steel in Poland.

The 3" model has legs that are 3" long when measured from the bottom of the tension circle spring. The overall length of these dividers is longer.
