Lindstrom SHR-600.00 Shears

The Lindstrom shear precisely cuts through non ferrous metal stock like silver and copper stock up to 28 gauge thick. These shears were first brought to our attention by Lexi of Wubbers fame. She likes them for making flush cuts on one side of thin wire. Featuring ergonomic cushion grips handles, this shear is a pleasure to work with compared to others. The blades are rated at 57-59 Rockwell hardness for long service life. The return springs has just the right amount of tension to return the blades to the open position.

Note: Cutting limits printed on the handles are for soft copper only. Metals alloys commonly used for jewelry are much harder. Flush cutters are very delicate. If damage occurs to the tips, we recommend that you grind the undamaged side and continue to use the cutters. Dents in the cutting surface are a clear indication that the hardness of the metal being cut is in excess of the limits of the cutters.
