Meiji MA794 .5X Optional Auxiliary Lens for Meiji EMZ-8TR Trinoc Microscope Head 

The Meiji EMZ-8TR uses different optics than the EMZ-8 and requires a different auxiliary lens.  The .5X is the most popular aux lens and will increase the working distance from 104mm to 174mm allowing plenty of space for hands and tools.  The .5X lens does reduce the maximum magnification from 45x to 22.5x, (using 10x eyepieces) but for jewelry work, a maximum of 22.5x is plenty of magnification, as most work is done at the lower magnifications.
