Mitchell's Polishing Round Cord in Crocus grain is designed for final polishing in tight, hard-to-reach areas such as around prongs, galleries, and intricate settings. The flexible round cord conforms easily to contours, allowing controlled finishing where wheels and points cannot reach. Used taut between the bench and hand, it delivers a smooth, refined surface in delicate spaces—ideal for bringing detail work to a final luster.

In the Mitchell's system, Crocus grain is used for final polishing, while Aluminum Oxide and Silicon Carbide versions are intended for pre-polishing. Within the Mitchell's grain scale, 120 grain is the coarsest and 200 grain is the finest. Cut the desired length from the spool before use.
