Use Mitchell’s abrasive cords or tape to polish inside hard to reach places like around prongs or galleries. Cut a length of cord and secure one end from your bench, then while holding the other end taut, move the piece to be polished back and forth against the cord. Mitchell’s is available in round cord or flat tape in a variety of diameters and grits. Aluminum Oxide and Silicon Carbide are for pre-polishing; Crocus is for a final polishing. 120 grain is the coarsest and 200 grain is the finest. Available in approximately 23 meter spools.
