This larger clamp-on task light puts bright, consistent daylight-spectrum illumination where you need it on the jeweler's bench. With a different arm type than the Otto Frei Black Onyx lamp, the Otto Frei Black Sapphire LED Clamp-On Bench Lamp pairs a sleek, articulated balanced arm with a high-output LED array.

At the heart of the Black Sapphire (model 9503) is an array of 117 SMD LEDs behind a diffusion shade, producing 2200 lumens of crisp White Daylight (6500K), ideal for color-accurate gemstone evaluation, fine detail work, and close bench tasks. The single push-button control cycles through four dimming levels (100%, 75%, 50%, 25%) and powers the lamp off with a double press, keeping adjustments intuitive and uninterrupted.

Compatibility

The clamp mount opens to 2-3/8" (60mm), fitting most standard bench edges securely. The lamp is dual voltage (100–240V) with a US North American 2-prong plug.

Notes

Otto Frei will replace a defective lamp at no charge, including domestic USA shipping, within 12 months of purchase. Integrated LED lights are not serviceable. LED lights can have a 50,000-hour service life, which could be 10 to 20 years at 3 to 8 hours of use a day. LED lumens will depreciate over their lifetime; they normally do not go out. If the lights fail or depreciate after 12 months of use, the lamp will need to be replaced, as LED lamps are not serviceable. Made in China.
