14KY & 18KY Otto Frei Yellow Gold Plumb Solders

All of these solders are Cadmium Free.


Otto Frei's Plumb Gold Solders are the same gold content as marked. That means, as opposed to repair solders where gold content is purposely lower than the mark for ease of use, these solders contain the plumb standard, or 14k (.585) gold if marked 14Y for example., or 18k (.750) gold if marked 18K. Plumb solders are for manufacturing when gold quality standards must be maintained. Keep in mind that plumb solders flow at higher relative temperatures than repair solders.
