Citric Pickle Ottotech

OttoTech Citri-Pickle is a mild citric acid pickle compound designed for use with gold, silver, brass, and copper. A greener alternative to standard pickle solutions, it is effective, gentler on metals, safer to handle, and biodegradable. Unlike conventional pickle compounds, Citri-Pickle does not react with steel to turn sterling silver or gold pink—making it a reliable choice for everyday studio use.

Citri-Pickle works slightly slower than standard pickle solutions but remains highly effective for removing flux and oxides after soldering. In addition to pickling, it can be used to clean stainless steel shot and in a magnetic tumbler. As an organic product, Citri-Pickle will develop an off smell when it has turned and needs to be replaced.
