This Garnet Simulant is made from lab-created Corundum displaying a deep vivid red color. Suitable for everyday wear, with the durability of 9 on the Mohs Scale of Hardness. Garnet is the birthstone of January. This stone may be fired in metal clay and safe to cast in place. Clean with warm soapy water. Ultrasonic and steam cleaner are usually safe. Calibrated gemstones sizes may vary slightly +/-0.10mm.
