But the computer gauge also has powerful software that makes estimating set gemstone weights for appraisals easier than ever before. You can use the gauge as a stand alone tool, entering data directly into the gauge, or you can plug the gauge into your PC and use the keyboard to enter data.
The mini CD-ROM contains the same software that is already loaded on the gauge, plus data on an additional 59 gemstones and additional capabilities in manipulating and storing data. You can even create estimation capabilities on custom gemstones. Once the software is loaded on your windows based PC, you can connect your Presidium Computer Gauge to your PC (with the supplied USB cord) and use your keyboard to enter measurements.
