This is a pre-assembled Reimers MBJ4-1500A Heating Element with a Reimers 04163 Thermostat installed.  This is a popular replacement combination as many times both the heating element and the thermostat will need replacement due to corrosion and age. It is recommended that you replace the Reimers 02281 heating element gasket whenever you replace a heating element, see Otto Frei part number 123.798.

This is the replacement heating element and thermostat combination for all Reimers steamers models JR, JR06 including JG and JJ models.  Also for Vigor brand steamers, which were manufactured by Reimers and branded as Vigor. 120V 1500W.

This part has remained virtually unchanged for many years.  If you have a 120V jewelry steamer manufactured by Reimers going back to the 1970's, this is the replacement element and thermostat combo for your machine.
