A versatile rotating soldering platform designed to hold a wide range of soldering surfaces, including the popular 6" Solderite soldering boards, charcoal blocks, and magnesia blocks — all sold separately. Whether you're soldering small components or working around a complex piece, the full 360-degree rotation gives you complete access from every angle without repositioning your work.

The platform edge accepts a third-hand clamp, allowing you to build a customized soldering station suited to your bench setup. If you prefer a complete ready-to-use solution, this platform is also available with a 6" square soldering board included — see part number 154.012.

Poor quality rotating platform

I was really hoping to love this platform but unfortunately it’s lacking. The rotation mechanism is grainy and a lot of force needs to be applied for it to rotate, it also doesn’t stop when you need it to and instead unwinds back a bit. The platform itself is on a tilt for some reason. The center screw that attaches the platform to the base unscrews and then the platform rotates there as well, which isn’t the design element, so I unscrewed it a bit and I’m using that to rotate the platform. I will also try oiling the bearings to see if I can improve the rotation of the base. Also there is a gap between the edge of the platform and the soldering board, which can make the solderite board wiggle especially since it’s loose on the platform, so I hammered in the edges of the platform a bit to hold the soldering board firmly.
