Round Faceted Chrome Diopside

Chrome Diopside is an affordable, untreated alternative to Emerald, offering a similar color, but at a much lower cost. Chrome Diopside's green color comes from the same chemical elements, chromium or vanadium, as Emerald and generally possess a higher clarity as well. A cousin to Jadeite, this gem is mined from Easter Siberia, where winters can last up to 9 months. Clean with warm, soapy water. Avoid use of ultrasonic and steam cleaner.
