Round Genuine Emerald Cabochon

Emerald is considered the world's finest green gemstone and has been highly prized and coveted for centuries, from Cleopatra to European royalty. Emerald is part of the beryl family and availability of fine quality is limited. Almost all Emeralds have inclusions that are visible to the naked eye, with the trade term "Jardin" used to describe the mossy-like inclusions. The majority of Emeralds are also treated, with fractures filled with colorless oil to improve the stone's color and appearance. Clean with warm, soapy water.
