S-93/77-43 Optional Longer Shaft 43" & Sheath Combo

This longer-length, factory-assembled Foredom S-93-43 Inner Shaft (43") & S-77-43 Outer Sheath (46-3/8") combo is pre-lubricated and ready to install. It’s a direct fit for most Foredom key-tip flex shaft motors—including SR, TX, and LX series—when you need extra reach beyond the standard 39"/36-1/4" setup. Also referred to as a Key Tip Motor Shaft and Sheath.

Installation & Service Tips

1. Unplug the motor before any maintenance.
2. Remove the old assembly; inspect the sheath bore for scoring or deformation.
3. Attach the S-77-43 sheath to the motor, then insert the S-93-43 shaft until fully engaged.
4. Reconnect the handpiece and test at low speed; re-lubricate per Foredom’s maintenance interval.

• If a shaft broke inside your old sheath, the sheath may be damaged—replacing the sheath helps prevent premature wear of the new shaft.
• Never operate a Foredom motor without the outer sheath attached.
