Set of 12 Cutting Broaches-Sizes Range-0.4mm to 4.5mm with Pin Vise Handle

This is the exact same set as our 115.500 but includes a double ended pin vise (broach holder).

These cutting, cleaning & finishing broaches are made of high quality steel and are uniformly tempered for a long life. Lengths vary from 150 mm (5-7/8") for the largest size (Stubs #15) to 66 mm (2-5/8") for the smallest size (Stubs #70).

The smallest broach begins at 0.4 mm at the tip and tapers up to 0.7 mm before the handle. The largest broach begins at 3.3 mm and tapers up to 4.5 mm at the handle.

These broaches are called English Pattern Broaches. They use what is called the Stubs sizing grading system, an obscure measuring system originating in England. The numbers correspond to the markings from an English screw plate by Peter Stubs of Warrington in Lancashire, a well know maker of watch and clock making tools in business during the early 1800's.
