Shellac-Orange Flake - 8 oz

Part # 112.227 4 In Stock Weight -- lb -- g
Current price $22.00

Orange flake shellac is a time-tested adhesive used by jewelers, metalsmiths, and engravers to temporarily secure workpieces during chasing, engraving, and stonesetting. When heated, the shellac softens and becomes tacky, allowing objects to be firmly held in place. Once cooled, it sets solid, providing a stable working surface. When work is complete, gentle reheating releases the piece cleanly.

Features

  • Becomes sticky and workable when heated, ideal for holding objects during chasing or engraving
  • Sets firm upon cooling to provide a stable, secure hold
  • Releases cleanly with gentle reheating for easy workpiece removal
  • Supplied in flake form for easy measuring and application
  • Generous 8 oz bulk pack for extended shop use
