Silicon carbide is ideal for deburring, smoothing and finishing flat or contoured surfaces. Use with rubber drum arbors. Suitable for pre-polish of brass, copper, nickel silver, gold silver and other alloys. Maximum recommended speed is 12,000 rpm.

These silicon carbide sanding bands are glue bonded and will far outlast lapped bands. Grits available are 60 grit coarse, 80 grit medium and 120 grit fine. All are sold in boxes of 100. Rubber bonded drum arbors are available in a variety of sizes to fit the diameter of the bands you choose. The arbors are available with either 3/32" diameter shanks or 1/8" diameter shanks.
