Smith Equipment One Hole Recessed Tube/Tip For Casting Up To 3 Oz. Platinum With Oxygen/Propane

Use this one piece headtube with a single orifice recessed tip for casting platinum using an oxygen/propane mix.  For use with the Smith Equipment WH100 casting torch handle, Otto Frei part number 114.395.

This tip will also work great for casting other precious metals.  Smith Equipment says you can also use this tip for casting with Oxygen & Natural Gas, although you will need a natural gas pressure booster to get enough pressure to do so.  Natural gas will not work for melting platinum, but should work find for melting gold and silver alloys.
