Product Details

This 60% tin 40% lead "soft" solder can be used, with some exceptions, to join copper and most copper alloys, lead, nickel alloys and steel using a soldering iron. Sold in a 1 oz pack.  Contains Lead. Tin/lead solders are not recommended for joints subject to high stress or vibration.  Note: it is illegal to use lead solders in both public and private potable water systems.

  • Melting point 411F. 1/16" diameter wire. 
  • Supplied in 1 oz. pack. Contains lead.
  • Use this soft solder wire with a simple soldering iron
