These flex shaft straight-type sanding mandrels feature a 3.0mm head and 3/32" diameter shanks, making them ideal for fabricating custom inside ring sanders. Wrap 3M™ Utility rolls or any sanding paper cut to fit around the mandrel, secure tightly, and glue the tops together. As the abrasive wears during use, simply tear back the paper to expose a fresh cutting surface. A reliable consumable for any jeweler or metalsmith working with a flex shaft or similar rotary tool.
