These 1.2mm stainless steel round magnetic balls are a specialty polishing media additive designed for use with magnetic tumblers. Used alone, they will not polish or finish your work — but when combined with 0.3mm or 0.5mm steel pins, they function like tiny ball bearings, improving the action and movement of the pins throughout the tumbling process. Like standard steel pins, these balls require a break-in period before reaching optimal performance.
