18 Holes 3.0mm To 10.0mm
Made in the U.S.A.
For making tubing from flatstock by trimming one end of a metal strip to a point and drawing it through one of the larger holes on the plate. Continue to draw down the metal through progressively smaller holes until a seam is formed. Solder the seam, and you have made tubing.
This tubing drawplate differs from standard wire forming drawplates in that the steps between the holes are rather large, making it not suitable for a gradual drawing down of wire. You could draw tubing with regular wire drawplates, but you would need to own at least 3 different round drawplates to do what you can do with this one reasonably priced plate.
Made of steel so this drawplate is suitable for use with non-ferrous jewelry metals like gold, silver, copper and brass.
