The Swiss Made G-Torch II Large Casting Torch is a professional-grade casting torch designed for jewelers who need serious melting power. This configuration includes the torch body paired with the large casting head and is engineered for use with oxygen and propane. The G-Torch II — formerly known as the Swiss Torch II — delivers outstanding performance for casting a wide range of jewelry metals, including platinum, gold, and silver.
The large casting head is rated at 38,000 kJ/h (36,000 BTU), providing sufficient heat to cast up to 50 DWT (2½ oz) of platinum using an oxygen/propane gas mix — eliminating the need for the more costly oxygen/hydrogen combination. This makes the G-Torch II a highly efficient and cost-effective solution for platinum casting in a professional jewelry studio.
While the G-Torch II is optimized as a casting torch and offers fewer interchangeable heads than the full Swiss Torch lineup, it can also serve as a bench torch for repair work when used with the optional micro head (sold separately). For jewelers whose primary need is powerful, reliable casting performance, the G-Torch II with the large casting head is a superior choice.

This torch is designed for use with oxygen and propane only. Always follow recommended gauge pressure settings for maximum power output: O₂ at 72.5 PSI (5 bar) and propane at 14.5 PSI (1 bar). The optional micro head for bench work is sold separately and is not included with this configuration.
