Tapered Spindel With 1/4" Shank-Fits Wells Quick Change Chuc

The Tapered Spindle with 1/4" Shank is designed to fit the Wells Quick Change Chuck system, specifically the right-side position. The Wells Quick Change Chuck is factory mounted to a Baldor 380WCT motor and operates like a clutch mechanism, allowing brushes and other polishing accessories to be swapped out rapidly without shutting down the motor—a genuine time-saver in a busy jewelry or metalsmithing shop.

The Quick Change Chuck accepts either 3/32" diameter shank tools or 1/4" diameter shank tools. No other shank sizes—nothing in between or larger—are compatible with this system. This tapered spindle features a 1/4" shank and is intended for right-side installation.
