The RinGenie™ helps jewelers with a variety of tasks, allowing for precision and speed in accomplishing the typical stone setting and engraving tasks that a professional bench jeweler encounters daily. With it, you can quickly set up a ring to do layout, drilling and milling then start engraving or stone setting all with the same jig.
The RinGenie™ is a precision tool made in the USA out of aircraft quality brushed aluminum. You can use it mounted in an engraving block, vise or a GRS BenchMate when used with the optional GRS BenchMate Attachment. Mount your ring using one of the collets from the 2 complete collet sets and you will have fine incremental settings with 360 degree rotation. Lock down using the thumb screw and your ring is securely held for stone setting or engraving. The included Mill/Drill/Layout Assembly can be quickly attached to allow for precision layout by simply pushing down the spring loaded punch that marks the metal for hand drilling. An optional RinGenie A050 Angle Adapter (148.245, see below) will do the same thing but pivots side to side for marking the sides of domed rings. Use the optional RinGenie A101 Side Helper (148.243 see below) for holding rings face up or down to work on the sides of rings.
