The TUNA Microblock with Inside Ring Holder attachment set is a quality made stonesetters tool costing hundreds less than comparable brand name systems. This microblock is made for the stonesetter as it includes an 18 piece expandable collet set for holding rings from size 4 to size 16 (15mm ID to 25mm ID).
The TUNA microblock, just like other microblocks, are for working on rings and other small setting jobs under a microscope while using a power stonesetting/graving system. The unique collet ring holding system gives you access to the external areas of the ring while the rotating block allows 360 degree movement keeping your focus on the exact area you are working on.
The TUNA microblock is also used for small format engraving jobs.
You don't need a microscope and GRS power tool to enjoy the benefits of the TUNA microblock as the block is great for holding things and working with a flex shaft or micromotor using basic magnifiers like an Optivisor.
