This kit brings together all eight 6" x 6" (152mm x 152mm) urethane pads in one convenient package, giving jewelers and metalsmiths a complete range of thicknesses and durometers for hydraulic die forming work. Specially formulated for increased cut-resistance and memory retention, these pads serve as the matching half to your custom die — pushing metal into every crevice and causing it to conform precisely to the die's shape.
The choice of thickness determines how deeply the form is pushed into the pad. For longest pad life, compression should never exceed two-thirds of the pad's thickness. With proper use, a urethane pad can last 10 years or more. Made in the USA.
