The "F" designation means this Micro-Shear has a retainer for catching metal fragments as they are cut. The retainer is a handy device that holds cut-off pieces of wire, allowing you to keep your work space neater and easily reclaim your precious metal scraps. This is a very strong, long lasting cutter that will give you years of use. These cutters are rated for cutting soft copper wire up to 2.05 mm (.081") 12 gauge in diameter.
