The new and improved Mk.V jewelers saw frames with Lever Tension & Swivel Blade Clamps. Available in 2 throat depths, 3" & 5". Now stronger, with improved blade clamps. The new clamps have witness holes, so you can see the back of the blade to make sure you've really grabbed it. The extra length in the clamps also gives the clamps more to hold on to, for improved grip. The new witness hole lets sawdust drop out of the bottom of the clamps, to keep them grabbing solidly. The frames now have the same triangulated truss design that makes the Mk. IV saws so much stronger. A major improvement over the older MK. III design.
The swiveling blade clamps allow you to swing the rear of the frame out of the way. The ability to set the frame into a "neutral corner" frees you to saw into areas that were never possible before. It swivels45° degrees either to the Right or the Left, and has a lock at the “straight ahead” position. Truly the ultimate in saws.

How the Swivel Blade Clamp System Works
Releasing the cam lever frees the sawblade clamps to swivel. The Adjustable Sawblade Direction (ASD) mechanism locks securely into three preset positions for the most common working angles. With careful adjustment, the blade can also be positioned at any point within the 90° range to accommodate special cutting needs or tight patterns.

Use & Care Tips
- Keep clamp faces clean and aligned for secure blade grip.
- If the lever resists closing, slightly reduce tension using the fine adjustment knob.
- Check that the blade remains straight through both clamps before sawing.
- Store with blade relaxed if not in use for an extended period.
