60 Durometer 6 x 6 X 1/2 Urethane Pad-Black

Used primarily in hydraulic die forming, this 60 durometer urethane pad is specially formulated for increased cut-resistance and memory retention. The pad functions as the matching half to the form you create, pushing metal into every crevice and causing it to conform precisely to the die. The choice of pad thickness is determined by how deep you want to push the form — for longest life, compression should not exceed 2/3 of the pad's thickness. With proper use, a urethane pad can last 10 years or more.
