Aqua Regia Basket Pouch

The Aqua Regia Basket Pouch is a key accessory for the Aqua Regia Gold & Platinum Refining System, designed to improve efficiency when processing e-scrap such as circuit boards and chips. When refining precious metals from electronic scrap, the volume of non-metal materials — plastics, ceramics, and similar substrates — is significantly greater than the precious metal content itself. This disproportion means that far more acid is required to submerge the material than is actually needed to dissolve the metal.

The basket pouch addresses this challenge by allowing the non-metal materials to be removed from the acid bath after the metal has dissolved, so that fresh e-scrap can be added without wasting acid or reducing efficiency. This approach makes the refining process considerably more economical by maximizing acid utilization and throughput when working with high-volume e-scrap material.
