These easy-to-use and remarkably affordable Bangle Bracelet Forming Press Steel Die Sets let you create patterned bangle bracelets without an expensive hydraulic press. Built from tool steel, these 2-part dies are similar to Ring and Hoop Presses but scaled up — large enough to form bangle bracelets up to 2-7/8" OD from wire as thick as 10 gauge (2.6 mm). This listing is for the Scallop 12 Pattern die set.

Compatible with copper, brass, silver, and gold wire, the process is straightforward: bend your wire into a round or oval shape no larger than 2-7/8" across, place it between the two die halves, and strike the top with a weighted rawhide mallet or other suitable shot-filled or large rubber mallet. Aluminum spacers are included to help center round bangles — they will deform during use, which is expected. For oval bangles, center the wire manually, though the spacers may still assist.

Once pressed, remove the bangle and size as needed. Join the ends to create a closed bangle or finish the ends for an open style. For added design variety, use patterned wire created with a rolling mill and draw plate.
