The Best Built 2-1/2 Gallon Pro Ultrasonic Money-Saving Kit delivers professional-grade cleaning power for busy jewelry shops that demand fast, thorough removal of polishing compounds and grime. In side-by-side aluminum foil tests, Best Built ultrasonics outperformed comparable units, producing noticeably more cavitation holes — a direct measure of cleaning intensity. The result is an ultrasonic capable of reaching the hardest-to-clean recesses of finished jewelry, quickly and completely.
This 2-1/2 gallon (10 quart / 9.5 liter) unit features a thermostatically adjustable heating element, German-made analog timer and switches, industrial transducers, and stainless steel construction throughout. Controls are straightforward and easily serviced. The kit includes a curated selection of baskets and cleaning solution to get you started right out of the box.

General Use: Do not operate in continuous mode. Most cleaning is completed within the first 30 seconds. Always keep solution topped off — operate at no less than 3/4 tank capacity; 7/8 full is optimal. Always use a non-ammoniated, non-flammable ultrasonic cleaning solution, pre-mixed to the recommended concentration before adding to the tank. Warm solution improves performance — allow the unit to run (degas) for a few minutes before cleaning.
Basket Required: Never place items directly on the tank bottom. Contact with the bottom can damage the transducer and will void the warranty. Dents or scarring on the tank bottom are evidence of improper use.
Safe Materials: Gold, silver, platinum, diamonds, rubies, sapphires, amethyst, and citrine are generally safe for ultrasonic cleaning.
Materials to Avoid: Do not clean emeralds, opals, turquoise, pearls, amber, or ivory — these soft or porous stones may be damaged by ultrasonic waves, heat, or sudden temperature changes. Ultrasonics do not remove tarnish.
Watches: Do not submerge watches. When cleaning metal watchbands only, use the appropriate holder inside a basket. Keep the watch head and movement suspended above the waterline. Never place a non-waterproofed watch in the tank. Ensure the stem is fully inserted or screwed in before any contact with water.
Solution Maintenance Tip: Each morning before use, carefully pour off the upper (cleaner) solution into a separate container, strain the remaining dirty solution through a fine mesh screen (check for valuables), dispose of debris responsibly, and return the clean solution to the tank. Top off with fresh pre-mixed solution.
