Ikohe Combination Belt & Disc Sander

Shaping flat and truing an edge at the bench takes two stations: a belt for fast stock removal and a disc for facing and detail. The Ikohe Combination Belt & Disc Sander puts both in one jeweler-sized unit, adding a 3" disc sander with a fixed 3/32" tool arbor to the 1" belt of the classic Ikohe belt sander, so you get lathe-like control at the disc alongside fast, flat shaping at the belt. The unit runs off your USA key-tip flex shaft, sold separately, and takes the same 1" belts familiar to Ikohe users. A bench clamp secures it wherever you work best, and a flexible dust-collection arm directs debris toward your shop vacuum or collector hose.

Flex shaft required, not included: USA key-tip style only. Remove your handpiece and seat the key tip fully into the sander. To release, pull the silver sheath back and gently withdraw the cable.

Belts not included: use 1" × 10-1/2" (25.4 × 267 mm) belts. A starter set of five ruby belts is available as Part # 111.821.

PSA discs not included: cut your own 3" discs with a 1/2" center hole from pressure-sensitive adhesive sheet stock. A variety kit is available as Part # 111.268KIT.

Setup reminders: loosen the center knob to drop belt tension before fitting a new belt, re-tension, then tighten the opposite set screw before powering on. Re-check belt tension after initial run-in. Use the two included wrenches—one on the arbor and one on the sheath—when securing or swapping mandrel tools at the disc station. A grit progression such as 80–120–180–240–320 with light pressure delivers fast, cool cutting and clean flat surfaces.
