Notes
Do not place items directly on the tank bottom. Always use the included basket or strainer. Damage to the transducer caused by items resting on the tank bottom will void the warranty. Dents and scars on the tank bottom are considered evidence of improper use.
It is not recommended to operate this unit in continuous mode. Most cleaning is accomplished within the first 30 seconds. Items left in the ultrasonic for extended periods may be damaged.
Safe materials for ultrasonic cleaning generally include gold, silver, platinum, diamonds, rubies, sapphires, amethyst, and citrine. Do not clean soft or porous stones such as emeralds, opals, turquoise, pearls, amber, or ivory, as ultrasonic energy, heat, or sudden temperature change may cause damage. Ultrasonics do not remove tarnish.
Watch cleaning: Do not submerge watch movements. Use the included holder with the movement suspended above the waterline. Never place a non-waterproofed watch in the tank. Ensure the crown is fully pushed in or screwed down before any contact with liquid.
Solution tips: Always maintain at least 3/4 tank capacity; 7/8 full is optimal. Use only non-ammoniated, non-flammable ultrasonic cleaning solution pre-mixed to the recommended concentration. Allow the unit to run for a few minutes before cleaning (degassing) for best results. Warm solution improves cleaning performance.
