Description

These burs cut a precise seat so faceted stones sit firmly in flush and bezel settings. Finally, the stone setting bur setters have been waiting for. Busch Fig. 413AU ultra-precise stone setting burs are made from hot-isostatically compressed, finest-grain carbide for maximum durability and cutting power, on a 3/32" shank. They are super sharp and super flexible, outlasting tungsten vanadium and HSS burs, especially in hard jewelry alloys like platinum, titanium, and white gold. Each bur cuts cleanly across a wide RPM range.

Sold by the piece. A complete 23-piece set is available separately (see related products).

Features

  • Hot-isostatically pressed (HIP) fine-grain carbide construction for long tool life and crisp, accurate seats
  • 3/32" shank fits standard flex shaft handpieces and rotary tools
  • Cuts cleanly at all speeds; performs exceptionally well in hard alloys including platinum, titanium, and white gold
  • Outlasts tungsten vanadium and HSS burs in demanding stone setting applications
  • Forms precise seats for faceted stones in flush and bezel settings
  • Available in 23 incremental sizes from 0.80 mm to 3.00 mm

  • Use lubricant or coolant to extend tool life and improve surface finish.
  • Secure the workpiece and keep the bur square to avoid tapered or oval seats.
