Description

A hart bur cuts the seat in a prong so the stone drops in square and holds. Busch Fig 414AU Carbide 90° Hart Burs are precision-ground for exactly that cut, sold individually on 3/32" shanks in 15 sizes from 0.90 mm – 2.30 mm. Carbide outlasts both tungsten vanadium and high-speed steel, which makes these the longest-lasting burs available for demanding bench work.

Busch carbide burs excel on the toughest metals, including platinum, titanium, and steel, while also delivering very long service life on standard gold alloys. The result is a lower cost per use than conventional burs. They are manufactured in Germany using state-of-the-art techniques, with a powerful blade geometry typically found only on steel tooling.

Features

  • 90-degree hart bur geometry for precise prong seat cutting
  • Carbide construction that outlasts tungsten vanadium and high-speed steel burs
  • Suitable for platinum, titanium, steel, and gold alloys
  • Advanced blade geometry for superior cutting performance
  • Manufactured in Germany to exacting standards
  • 3/32" shank on every size
  • Sold individually, so you choose only the sizes you need
