This Italian-made metric disc cutter set is engineered for professional jewelers who demand precision and consistency. The set includes 18 hardened tool steel punches spanning 2.0mm to 12.0mm (approximately 3/32" to 1/2"), delivering perfectly round disks from soft precious and non-ferrous metals. Punches are manufactured to extremely close tolerances, featuring sharp straight cutting edges and a nail-type striking head for reliable, clean cuts every time.

Recommended for cutting gold, silver, copper, brass, and thin sheets of nickel silver up to 18 gauge. The block is designed to be disassembled, making it easy to free any punch that becomes stuck in cut metal. For best results, use with a hydraulic press; a brass mallet on a rubber pad also works with care. Note that the smallest punches are most susceptible to breakage — handle with care, as individual punches are not guaranteed. Replacement punches are sold separately.

• For best results, use with a hydraulic press. A brass mallet on a rubber pad is also suitable with care.
• Always use a cutting lubricant such as Stay Sharp on punch cutting edges before use.
• Support the opposite side of the cutter with a sheet of same-diameter metal to maintain alignment and minimize sticking.
• Place the disc cutter on a rubber pad for support during use. A 95 durometer urethane pad is recommended to extend cutter life.
• Never use a nail-driving hammer — use only a suitable brass mallet or press.
• Keep cutting edges oriented downward during use.
• To prevent rust, lubricate the disc cutter between uses and store in a dry location.
• The smallest punches are the most fragile — handle with care. Individual punches are not guaranteed and are sold separately as replacements.
• Only cut soft non-ferrous metals. Do not exceed the 18 gauge maximum thickness recommendation.
